Main Sessions: Steve Timmis & Tim Chester

Steve and Tim are the authors of Total Church: A Radical Reshaping Around Gospel and Community (Crossway). They lead The Crowded House, a family of church planting networks that started in Sheffield, England. They have also started The Porterbrook Network to train people for mission and church planting in the context of ministry.

Steve is married to Janet and they have four grown-up children and two grandsons. Steve is a life-long supporter of Manchester United Football Club. The church Steve leads has recently formed five Gospel Communities. The one Steve heads up has a focus on the church football team and is exploring ways of reaching out to local prostitutes.

Tim is the author of a number of books including Good News to the Poor, The Busy Christians Guide to Busyness and most recently, You Can Change. He leads a small network within the Crowded House with two household churches and two missional teams. He is married to Helen, has two girls and is a life-long supporter of any football team playing against Manchester United.

Breakout Sessions:

David Fairchild is the co-founder and preaching elder of Kaleo Church in San Diego. He is also the southwest movement leader for Acts 29 network and sits on the board for Acts 29 International Church planting. See David's LinkedIn BIO.

Jeff Vanderstelt is an Elder at Soma Communities. He is a leader of leaders and a coach and trainer for church planters.  His background includes music, business management, working with youth, training youth workers in North America and Europe and starting new churches.

Caesar Kalinowski is an Elder at Soma Communities. He is a spiritual entrepreneur and an avid storyteller. His background includes communications, media production, working with youth, and extensive travel in international missions. He has worked in over 15 countries around the world including Sierra Leone, Sudan, Nigeria, Burma, India and the Czech Republic.  Before moving to Tacoma in 2004 to help launch Soma, Caesar and his wife owned and operated several businesses in and around the Chicagoland area. He worked as a record producer for 12 years before becoming a full time missionary. (aren't we all...?) He is currently leading the start of a new Soma expression on 6th Ave. in Tacoma.

 

Mark Moore is an elder at Providence Community in Dallas.  He has extensive experience in assessing and coaching church planters in both the U.S. and in Europe.  Currently Mark is leading the establishment of The Crowded House U.S, which is a group of church planting networks with a commitment to missional communities and household church.

Drew Goodmanson is the co-founder of Kaleo Church in San Diego.  Drew also founded Monk Development where he currently serves as CEO.  Learn more at Goodmanson.com.
